Chuck Norris: "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" We Agree -By The Reluctant Republican
In spite of his apparent plastic surgery and questionable toupee, Chuck Norris is still not a man that I would to get into an argument with. Now that Mike Huckabee is no longer in the race, Chuck has focused his formidable (and trademarked, I believe) intense glare upon our burgeoning energy crisis. He has joined a group called “American Solutions for Winning the Future” in their efforts to push congress to develop more domestic oil and gas production. He was on Fox News “Fox and Friends” yesterday to talk about the petition and drive (video below). He has also written an open letter to congress called “Congress, get off your gas and drill!” Neither of the candidates has come out strong on this issue. Let’s hope that as the (more) conservative candidate, McCain will listen to Chuck, and everyone who signs the petition (please do so here) to take another step toward energy independence and increasing supply to bring prices down.
